Chef Talia has been out there, under the blazing sun, tilling, sowing, watering, harvesting, and hand-picking every single ingredient that bursts with flavor onto your palate. It’s all perfectly paired with the cool, refreshing sips of our Sierra Foothills A.V.A. Wine Curation.
Join us as we bask in the full force of summer’s golden embrace— right to your plate! This sun-kissed menu conjured and cultivated by Chef Foster is not to be missed! Get your evening glow on starting at the 5 p.m. cocktail hour, then let the feast begin as we ignite dinner at our usual 6 p.m. Chase the evening sun into a memorable July Wine Dinner featuring Vintages of the Sierra Foothills A.V.A. at the Historic Gold Coin, Downtown Mariposa!

Chef Talia Foster
Chef Foster brings a broad level of experience in the food industry, with an education from The Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY, and comes to Mariposa by routes of Milwaukee, WI and Big Sur, CA!
As the Head Chef for the storied and local June Bug Cafe, Chef Foster has overseen every corner of the restaurant including directly harvesting from local gardens and orchards, and will bring that experience to both Little Shop of Ramen and The Local Grape. Chef Foster will be kicking off our much anticipated grab-n-go sandwiches, hot panini sandwiches, charcuterie, and pickled and fermented products.

- Vino Noceto, Sangiovese.
Smooth, well-balanced, & true to varietal character, With good acidity, light tannins, & bright cherry-berry flavors - Lava Cap Winery, Chardonnay.
This wine combines the best of Chardonnay’s characteristics when grown in the mountains, showing both richness and freshness that exist in tension and harmony. A vibrant nose filled with tropical fruit and Myer lemon, framed by a backdrop of toasty brioche and flint. On the palate the wine shows a perfect combination of both richness and freshness, with ample acidity tying it all together for a long finish. - Dillian Wines, Syrah.
An approachable Syrah that shows aromas of rose petal and cocoa on the nose with flavors of dried cranberry and dark chocolate. - Stevenot Winery, Danza Blanca.
This estate-grown blend showcases layers of dried pineapple and apricot, complemented by zesty notes of lemon and lime. A subtle grassy undertone adds freshness and complexity, leading to a vibrant, well-balanced finish.
