Chef Taylor
Our new friend in the Sierras, Chef Sadie Taylor began cooking as a kid and now specializes in private cheffing near Yosemite.
Sadie was brought up in her family’s restaurant business— learning by doing, she mastered what was on offer and has continuously expanded a unique culinary repertoire in her ventures.
Chef Taylor’s style focuses on supporting local, small farmers and using the season’s best offerings in creating a special take on California fare while crafting menus that are both experimental and approachable, thriving on cooking for the community, from what the community has to offer.
From the Wineries
- Casque Wines, 2020 Picpoul Blanc.
Gold medal winner, Sierra Foothills Wine Competition.
Lime blossoms, white nectarine, wet slate, fresh thyme, and a touch of pineapple precede a palate of stone fruit, minerality, and melon. Framed by vivid, lingering acidity. - Gianelli Vineyards, 2016 Grenache.
Typically spicier and acidic, however, this vintage will be known for its light, fruit-forwardness. With notes of bubble gum & clove. - School Street Winery, 2015 Parcel 17 Red Blend.
Fruit from the Parcel 17 Vineyard located in the Salt Springs Valley. A blend of the Spanish varietals Mazuelo, Monastrell, and Graciano. Fruit from the Parcel 17 Vineyard in Calaveras County. 30 months on French oak. Aromas of Valencia orange, plum, and earth. Flavors of ripe blackberry and plum. Fine, soft tannins with a long finish.
